From August 18 to 24, 2025, Rosario will host the first-ever Climate Week in South America.
This landmark event will join the global climate agenda alongside New York and London Climate Weeks, amplifying the region’s voice in the lead-up to COP30.
For seven days, leaders from governments, businesses, universities, social organizations, and youth movements will converge to debate, share solutions, and drive tangible action against the climate crisis.

Rosario has a unique combination of characteristics that make it an ideal setting to address environmental challenges from a regional perspective.

WHY ROSARIO?
Our Goals

Include the regional perspective in the global climate agenda.

Create a space for debate among diverse voices that don’t usually engage in dialogue.

Raise awareness
about the action
climatic.
Promote solutions that contribute to climate change adaptation and mitigation.
Rosario Climate Week 2025 will take place at the Terminal Fluvial, an easily accessible venue in the heart of the city, located in front of the Monumento Nacional a la Bandera and along the banks of the Paraná River.
The choice of this location highlights both its strategic and symbolic significance: the Paraná is one of the most important water systems in South America, and its presence underscores the theme of this edition: "Local action, global impact."
